Produced by Manhattan Edit Workshop (MEWShop), Sight, Sound & Story is a premier filmmaking speaker series that takes audiences behind the scenes of film and television with some of the most celebrated artists in the industry. This ongoing event brings together Oscar®, Emmy®, and ACE Eddie Award-winning editors, cinematographers, directors, and sound designers, offering an unprecedented look into the craft of visual storytelling, film editing, cinematography, and post-production.

Current Format: Online Events

Since 2020, Sight, Sound & Story has transitioned into a free online event series, making world-class filmmaking education accessible to a global audience. While in-person programs such as The Post-Production Summit and The Art of Cinematography were once our stalwart programs, the series now continues with monthly online events featuring exclusive conversations with industry leaders from all areas.

These online sessions cover a wide range of topics in editing, cinematography, post-production, directing, production design, costume design, and storytelling techniques. Most importantly, they are free to the public and online, allowing attendees worldwide to engage directly with the filmmakers who shape today’s most influential stories.
